Evans Min-EMAD
Evans Min-EMAD, Externally Mounted Adjustable Dampening for toms and snare. Min-EMAD removes unwanted frequencies while retaining the desired attack, tone and feel of your preferred drumhead.
Min-EMAD allows drummers to customise their sound control, or replace just one at a time as they replace heads.
By linking the vibrating head with the drum hoop, the Min-EMAD removes overtones by resistig the motion of the head. The Min-EMAD is equally effective on bottom heads due to to its velcro mounting system.
Using the three different sized Min-EMADS in different combinations will provide dampening options in addition to the three basic set-ups, minimal, moderate and aggressive dampening.
