The Ibanez AK95 continues the true full-hollow artisan tradition with respect and detail. The AK eschews the brighter sound of maple tops and metal bridges and replaces them with spruce tops and all-wood bridges for the warmer sound favoured in small group and jazz trio formats. The Ibanez AK95-DVS has a luxurious spuce top with flamed maple back/sides, a comfortable and fast satin smooth 3-piece Artcore Mahogany/Maple set-in neck, a bound rosewood fingerboard with pearl block inlays and 22 large frets. The ART-W wooden bridge with VT100 Tailpiece delivers good stability with sumptuous looks. Medium output Ibanez ACH humbucking pickups deliver the warm jazzy tones. A sustain block design produces extended resonance and immunity to feedback. Overall, a great guitar with looks, sounds and quality for a great price.
