Paiste Sound Technology cymbals are the perfect starting point to enter the incomparable world of Paiste sound.
PST 5 cymbals are manufactured using the same high-grade bronze alloy as in the professional class, which became famous through the 2002 series. The combination of this sonorous bronze with the new production method provides drummers with new sound dimensions, and due to the rich program, with numerous possibilities to design an individual cymbal set.
- Rides:
20" Medium Ride - Bright, full, warm. Medium range, clean mix. Even, balanced feel. Clear ping over controlled, clean wash. Versatile ride for a wide range of musical application.
21" Groove Ride - Warm, bright, full. Wide range, fairly complex mix. Nicely embedded silvery ping over comfortable, hissing, big wash. Very responsive, multipurpose Ride cymbal for many modern musical applications.
20"/22" Rock Ride - Bright, full, cutting. Clear and focused. Medium range and strong mix. Glassy ping over constant, massive wash. Very controllable ride with good responsive feel, well suited for higher volume musical settings. - Hi Hats:
14" Rock Hats - Very energetic, cutting and defined with good overall responsive feel. Fairly wide range, clean mix with a nice layer of warmth. A very solid hi-hat for all-purpose Rock settings.
13"/14" Medium Hats - Warm, full. Fairly wide range, moderately complex mix. Even, responsive feel. Full, bright, open sound, with a defined, solid chick sound. Versatile hi-hat for all-around playing. - Crash:
18" Crash/Ride - Medium bright, full, energetic. Fairly wide range, fairly clean mix. Strong feel. Multi-purpose cymbal with powerful crash and soft, mellow ride qualities.
