Vic Firth American Classic drum sticks are turned from select hickory, a dense wood with little flex which gives a more pronounced and fuller sound. These sticks are also highly durable due to their capability to withstand a great deal of shock.
The American Classic wood tips are deeply back-cut which provides an intensified cymbal response.
